About the Journal
Focus and Scope
The journal publishes research across renewable and alternative energy, sustainable infrastructure, green buildings, environmental engineering, climate-resilient technologies, circular economy, waste management, water and wastewater treatment, clean manufacturing, sustainable materials, energy-efficient systems, smart and sustainable cities, pollution prevention, industrial ecology, green transportation and responsible technological innovation. Interdisciplinary studies connecting engineering with environmental science, economics, public policy, management, law, social responsibility and sustainable development are also encouraged. Particular consideration is given to research offering measurable environmental benefits, technically feasible solutions and meaningful contributions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Manuscripts should clearly explain their research problem, methodology, findings, limitations, practical implications and contribution to existing knowledge.
Peer Review and Publication Ethics
Every manuscript submitted to the journal undergoes an initial editorial assessment to determine its relevance, originality, academic quality and compliance with submission requirements. Manuscripts considered suitable are ordinarily evaluated through an independent peer-review process by reviewers possessing relevant subject expertise. Editorial decisions are based on scholarly merit, methodological reliability, originality, clarity and relevance, without discrimination based on nationality, gender, institutional affiliation, religion or political belief. Authors, editors and reviewers are required to disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest. The journal does not tolerate plagiarism, fabricated or falsified data, duplicate publication, manipulated citations, undisclosed use of artificial intelligence, inappropriate authorship or other forms of research misconduct. Necessary corrections, expressions of concern and retractions may be issued to protect the integrity of the scholarly record.
Open Access and Copyright
The journal follows an open-access publishing model under which published content is made freely available to readers without subscription barriers. Authors retain copyright in their published work while granting the journal the right of first publication and the authority to identify itself as the original publisher. Unless otherwise stated on an individual article, published material is distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence.
